According to HealthCare.gov, fees for not having health insurance will increase in 2016 but Idahoans still have a chance to register online and during an open enrollment event.
On Saturday, January 23, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the SelectHealth Portico Building, SelectHealth and independent insurance brokers are providing Idahoans with free resources, information and an opportunity to register for health insurance to avoid government penalties.
According to SelectHealth the event is open to everyone including those unhappy with their current plan, want to know what options exist, need help navigating through healthcare.gov or have lost their plan recently.
SelectHealth has activities at the event for kids to keep them entertained and a photo booth.
