Public Speaking for Business Communications

Learn how to promote your business and improve your business communications skills by combining basic public speaking techniques with your own creativity and common sense. Boise Public Library invites you to join writer, speaker and marketing guru Merilee Marsh on Wednesday, February 3, 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Main Library's Marion Bingham Room on third floor.

During the interactive workshop, Marsh will discuss using public speaking as a business tool. Topics will include developing an elevator speech to promote your product or service; presenting a management report; and communicating effectively with coworkers.

Marsh has presented communications workshops to a variety of industries in the U.S., Russia, Ukraine, and Romania, and has moderated numerous panels for business owners, media personalities and other professionals. She has extensive experience in media, advertising, public relations, sales and management.
