Boise High Chamber Orchestra Benefit Concert Press Release

The Boise High Chamber Orchestra will present its 17th Annual Benefit Concert on Saturday, February 6th at 7:30 PM in the main sanctuary of First United Methodist Church (717 N. 11th St, Boise, 83702). This twenty-five member auditioned string ensemble consists of dedicated students in grades 9-12. Joining the orchestra for this performance are trumpeter Dennis Keck and organist Susan Talley. Mr. Keck teaches in the Boise School District and is a former member of the Boise Philharmonic Orchestra. Mrs. Talley is a recently retired professional organist, whose numerous church music positions include service to Boise's First United Methodist Church in the 1990's. The concert features works by Shostakovich, Albinoni, Chilcott, Carmichael, and others. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and may be purchased from a Boise High Orchestra student or by emailing [email protected]. Tickets may also be purchased at the door at no additional cost.
