Family Science Workshop & Fair

Tap into your child's natural curiosity! Join us for a workshop to learn about great resources on science for young children, and talk about different ways to engage children with science experiments. The workshop will be on Wednesday, February 11, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Library! at Hillcrest's Lemhi Room.

Attendees will receive free resources from the Idaho Commission for Libraries to help with My First Science Fair projects. The fun day of science experiments and projects for children ages 3-8 will be on Saturday, March 14, from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. Children are encouraged to work with their parents on science experiments and projects to share at the Fair.

Families must register to participate in the Fair. Beginning February 1, call 562-4996 to register, or visit www.boisepubliclibrary.org/calendar and search for "science fair" to register online. Registration is not required for the parents' workshop.
