Boise State University is proud to bring globally recognized leaders in nuclear energy to address the benefits and challenges associated with nuclear energy production and its role in supplying clean energy for a growing world.

The conference will feature Dr. Leslie Dewan, a noted next generation nuclear scientist. Dr. Dewan is the co-founder and CEO of Transatomic, has been named one of TIME Magazine's "30 People Under 30 Changing the World" and Forbes' "30 Under 30" in Energy. The summit will also include an exciting and thought-provoking panel discussion with John Kotek, Assistant Director of Nuclear Energy, U.S. Department of Energy; Dr. Mark Peters, Laboratory Director for the Idaho National Laboratory; and Mark Rudin, Vice President for Research at Boise State University. The panel will address questions about the benefits and concerns around nuclear power.

There will also be an opportunity for attendees to learn more about specific areas of interest including Research at Boise State University, Advanced Reactor Design and Modular Reactors, Nuclear Waste, Commercial Reactor Safety, The History of INL Innovation, Nuclear Energy and Global Warming.
