Description:
Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge needs your help to connect kids with nature by guiding elementary students during field trips to Lake Lowell.

Discover Wildlife Journeys field trips are targeted at 4th-6th graders.
Volunteers guide students through two of the field trip stations.
Station topics include birds, aquatic invertebrates, "bugs," and tracks & scat.

Volunteers are needed from 9 AM-3 PM on Tuesdays-Thursdays from April 8-June 5.
No experience necessary-just a love of sharing nature with kids, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn.
A training session will be held at the Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge visitor center on Thursday, April 3rd from 9:30am-2:30pm
