The Idaho Public Health Association will be hosting a presentation on the state level changes and impact of the Affordable Care Act to both healthcare delivery and public health in Idaho by Ms. Corey Surber, Executive Director of Community Health and Public Policy for Saint Alphonsus Health System. The presentation will take place on Tuesday, April 15th, beginning at 6 PM in the Boise State University Center at 301 S Capital Blvd. Ms. Surber will highlight the current status of health insurance exchange enrollment, options to address the remaining coverage gap, and other health policy issues covered in the 2014 Idaho Legislative Session. This event has been approved for 1.5 hours of continuing education for Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) participants.
