On Wednesday, April 23rd, U.S. Senator Jim Risch will join ChallengeHER in hosting a free event to help Boise-area women business owners learn the ins and outs of the WOSB program and get direct access to procurement officials and prime contractors. Launched in 2013, ChallengeHER is a joint initiative from the Small Business Administration (SBA), Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP) and American Express OPEN to promote the Women-Owned Small Business Federal Contract program, bring more women-owned firms into the federal government's supply chain and provide an avenue for government agencies to meet qualified women-owned contractors.
