The First ever Bosnian Heritage Day will be a day at Kleiner Park in Meridian with fun free activities for the whole community. Some of the things we have planned so far are: soccer game tournament, Bosnian food sales, Showcase of Bosnian Business in Idaho, and a stage with various performances from folk dancing, music, informational presentations about Bosnia, and workshops for the community to learn about the country where we came from. We have lots planned with many volunteers working on making this a historic event for Idaho. So far the mayor of Boise has given us a proclamation for the event and we are awaiting the same from the mayor of Meridian.
